I'm exhausted. Drove about eight hours (that includes SIX stops-- no, we usually don't stop that much and no, we weren't having bathroom issues. We just kept getting hungry & thirsty!) back up to school today with my bff.
Loud tunes, snacks, creepy highway friends = fun ways to make eight hours go by fast!
I'm getting to all of your blogs, I promise! I just need a few days to get back into routine, etc. Classes start on Wednesday for me with next week also being a short week (thanks, MLK!).
Leaving you with a tune to sum up how I feel right about now:
<3 Jackson Browne.
Have a great week!

About Classic rock girl!
I'm a college student who grew up two decades too late and missed out on some fantastic music. I relive those years through this blog, by talking about anything and everything rock music related from the '60s, '70s, and '80s-- with some of "today's" music thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!

Thank you! You know how I love my Jackson Browne. What a way to start my day!
Loved the video :) And driving 6 hours must be really tiresome as it seems to me, but the way you make it interesting is impressive too ! :)
Runnin' on Empty! Soo true!
Glad you had a safe trip back to school. Good luck this semester!
Jackson Browne -- now you're bringing back my college days ...
Great tune Classic Girl!
The lines-"Gotta do what you can just to keep your love alive
Trying not to confuse it with what you do to survive"-bring back memories for me.
Great song. I also really dig The Pretender.
