Happy Valentine's Day, my blogsters!
...Or if you're completely opposed to this holiday, then forget I said anything. :)
So do you like V-Day or is it just an annoying Hallmark holiday? Are you better off if you're in a relationship or single on February 14th?
Want to know the seven things to never tell a single person? Head on over to Linda Lou's post about it. She's actually pretty really 110% spot on.
Cheesy love songs that you secretly love? This one's pretty bad. Not to mention it's a stalker's checklist. But it's still somehow cute.
Fallin', fallin', fallin'...

About Classic rock girl!
I'm a college student who grew up two decades too late and missed out on some fantastic music. I relive those years through this blog, by talking about anything and everything rock music related from the '60s, '70s, and '80s-- with some of "today's" music thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!

Valentine's Day, like any other day is what you make of it. It can be insanely good or despairingly bad whether or not you're in a relationship. For couples in relationships, especially longer term ones I think it's a good idea to celebrate. When you've been with someone for a considerable period of time life tends to get in the way and you forget to mention to one another how much the other person means to you. Valentine's Day is an opportunity to give one another those friendly reminders that sometimes get lost in the shuffle of everyday life.
It's a Hallmark day, so I basically rebel against it. However, I am in a marriage that I would like to continue so I acquiesce.
Sting... eh...
Like all holidays,VD has become so commercialized. Valentine's Day in its purest form is sweet -- showing/telling those we love how much they mean to us.
My bright-eyed, 3 year old son came up to me yesterday and said, "Can I call you Sean?"
I nearly died laughing. Just one of the many reasons that I love him.
Love is another mystery out of one thousand and two dazzling experiences that we enjoy during our time here. Somehow a card seems like a perfunctory gesture when stacked against the enormous force of gravity that true love exerts on the hearts and minds of anyone who is lucky enough to encounter it.
I added that child in after your suggestion! ;)
Although, he has yet to make an appearance on your blog either...Your readers are really missing out!
So true what you say.
I saw Every Breath you take one time in a movie, where you had a pyshco watching a girl walk down the stair. I never thought about the lyrics and the other meaning till I saw that.
