About Classic rock girl!
I'm a college student who grew up two decades too late and missed out on some fantastic music. I relive those years through this blog, by talking about anything and everything rock music related from the '60s, '70s, and '80s-- with some of "today's" music thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!

I haven't watched the Grammys for several years. Just don't care for all the hype anymore.
Wow what a difference 36 years makes. The Grammys have always been about the money not about the talent. In my opinion of course.
I haven't watched the Grammys in years. I've always felt that they were sort of a joke. I remember Milli Vanilli being stripped of their awards for being impostors and Jethro Tull winning one for best heavy metal act over Metallica.
No time for award shows. Why bother watching other people live their lives when there's so much to do? I usually take five minutes and read the list of winners the next day. Saves three hours for something worthwhile :)
Wow! I too love the new look of your blog. Way to go. It looks like 1974 was a really strong year!
I don't feel this year's crop of Album of the Year noms was necessarily bad. We'll have to wait and see if they stand the test of time like such 1974 albums as Fulfillingess' First Finale, Band On the Run, and Court & Spark.
Over the past couple of years, I have consistently watched the Grammys. However, as I said over at Layla's Classic Rock, I no longer get upset over who wins, loses, doesn't get nominated, etc.
