Sorry I've been MIA for the past few days -- I got home for spring break and just took a few days off. But I'm back in action... with a CONTEST!!!
Here are the rules:
1. You must be a U.S. resident.
2. It's more fun if you don't cheat. :) I don't think you'll need to, but don't be tempted.
3. You must submit your answers by posting them through the comment section on this blog entry.
4. The deadline for this contest is Friday, March 20 at midnight central time zone. I will post the winner on Saturday morning.
Here's what you have to do:
Properly match the guitars pictured with the guitarist. Simple as that. You don't need to tell me the band, but if you want to, then be my guest. :)
You may be asking yourself "What's in it for me? Why do this?"
Here's what you'll receive via mail if you are the first person to correctly match the guitar with its guitarist:

(Confession- I knew that it was Willie's guitar, but i had to google it for the name: "trigger.")
I actually saw Hendrix, Neilson, and Page's guitars (among 50 or so others) at an exhibit at the MFA in Boston a few years back. It was called "The art of the guitar."
It was amazing.
A religious experience.

yeah. I'm a gear nerd..
I own at least 20 guitars and basses, mostly vintage old stuff. Old amps. Old musical stuff. Not to mention the banjo, mandolins, and countless ukuleles. (I like things made of wood with strings that make noise.)
The only one of those photos that had me guessing- believe it or not, was the double neck Gibson. Jimmy Page's was white! Seeing a red one threw me...
I think Page's original 1971 model Gibson 1275 doubleneck he used most often was the natural cherry color...although he might have used a white one. Gibson does now offers it in white.
The Whizkid is absolutely right.
Page's Gibson was the natural finish.
For some reason i remembered him playing a white one in the Song Remains The Same.
It's been a good long while since i watched that one.
