It's been busy, busy, busy around here. Thanks for all the well wishes, I'm feeling almost 100% back to normal!
I totes forgot about Joe Walsh's 62nd birthday on Friday!!
It's no secret he's not my favorite but nonetheless, he is a great guitarist.
Check out "Walk Away" from 1977 (I think this is a Houston show):
Anyways, if I'm not posting for the next couple of days it's because I'm trying to wrap things up here and then I'm flying home on Tuesday morning! I'll stop in before Thanksgiving though :)

About Classic rock girl!
I'm a college student who grew up two decades too late and missed out on some fantastic music. I relive those years through this blog, by talking about anything and everything rock music related from the '60s, '70s, and '80s-- with some of "today's" music thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!

Walsh added a completely new dimension to the Eagles, though they were not the same band after this. He and Felder played brilliantly together, though.
I do love his solo records and the James Gang stuff is unreal.
one of my favorite memories of my younger days was being able to catch Joe Walsh in concert (opened for Bob Seger back in 1986?). he gets slammed for being nonchalant and sloppy, but it works for him.
Like Sean said...For some ungodly reason I loved his You Can't Argue With a Sick Mind live album...
Joe Walsh's initial years with the James Gang were some of the best from his overall journey to the Eagles... I really admire his riffs in that group ...
